IGNORANCE CAN BE BLISS

Location

To be doted upon since you were born,

For those younger days I do yearn,

Filled with such love and happiness,

It's a feeling of total bliss.

I didn't know any differences, I was just me,

I thought we were all the same, as far as I could see,

But then, I began to grow,

And it all started to show.

The hatred, injustice and differences,

To me, it just doesn't make sense,

Of human ignorance I am almost in despair,

For racism is around us everywhere.

So many people judged by the color of their skin,

Don't they realize the world is nearing the end!

So many holding the reins of power not spiritually aware,

I just want to follow HIM and make it there!

So I long for those days of youthful bliss,

And wait for HIS return for those on his list.
