When I look at you,

My heart swells.

When you laugh,

A smile dances,

We get in the car,

Driving to anywhere,

But the time comes,

When we have to go.

Back into reality we dive,

School, work, jobs,

They add up.

It slowly overtakes us.

But hope is not lost,

Is a breath,

A kind word.

Our paths,

Not always intertwined,

But always held together,
