if sex didn't exist we could fall in love

If sex didn't exist

Maybe we could fall in love

You could give me a chance

And maybe we could gain trust

If sex didn't exist

Maybe you wouldn’t have left me for her

Because i could be

So much more

I have the personality of an angel

Except my body type isn't quite right

Always wanting

Someone to fall in love with me for me

Because i have so much

Hidden in my personality

If sex didn't’ exist

Maybe you’d use your mind

And your heart

Instead of what's hidden below the waistline

If sex was actually “making love”

Why do we crave it so much

If sex didn't exist

We wouldn’t wouldn't have to fear

A world with rape

That’s what i'd like to hear

I want someone to make me feel alive

Without wanting to put something inside

Cait, this is so powerful! So many things I want to say...agreed that the physical muddles matters of the heart! Wow! This is dynamite!
Check out a piece I posted called Love of My Life. It shares some of the same sentiments.
