If Only I Had My Camera

I’m stranded on a deserted island with nothing else to do

Except to look beyond the horizon across the ocean blue.

If only I had my camera.

If I had my camera, I would never be alone

Because so many memories for me does it own.

If I had my camera, I might take a look around

Through the jungle forest to see what could be found.

If only I had my camera.

If I had my camera, I could document my stay

To keep my mind busy and my bad thoughts at bay.

If only I had my camera.

If I had my camera, perhaps one day I could show

The many things photography provides which the world has yet to know.

If only I had my camera…
