If only....

If only I could stay to watch the sun rise over the bay feed my horses their hay if only I could stay.

Today is the last day i watch them take boxes into the truck and watch my memories fade.

My room is empty not a poster in sight, my parents tell me we're going to be alright.

The

If only I could stay another day...week....or even a year, but we have no choice anyway

Trees fly by, soon trees turn into buildings then the deal is made

The house smells new but nothing like our old abode which still holds my sight

If only it didn't end this way...they say when one door another one opens but who's to say
