Ever since I was younger,

I was taught to wonder-

"What do you want to be

when you're older?"

I've changed my mind,

what seems to be a million times,

but now that I'm almost 17,

I have to start planning the rest of my life.

If only I could, I'd study what I want to,

I know what I would do.

My first degree would be in Music,

because then my dream would come true.

My second degree would be in Education,

so I could have something with a practical application.

I could be that one really cool teacher,

who really knows how to rock the nation.

But that's only if I could get by,

with putting in my hardest try.

If money wasn't so dang hard to find,

I could finally let my dreams fly!
