If it were easy I'd be where I should be

If it were easy I'd land that job 

And be accepted into that school debt free

And avert the possibility of being a slob

If it were easy I'd be happier

If it were easy I'd be laughing more

Smiling more with flare

Being hopeful of what's in store

If it were easy maybe I'd understand you better

If it were easy maybe I'd even understand myself

If it were easy I'd know how to end this poem 

but maybe its not meant to be easy
