If I were on a deserted island I would bring.... It's not such an easy question because of all the paths the train of thought could take..

I could say I want to bring a lifeboat to find get back home, but what if I have no map. After all you can only bring one thing.

I could bring my favorite book showing my devotion to it, how out of everything, this book will get me through.

However, wouldn't this book get old as most thing do over time.

There are different ways to answer, the question doesn't say it must be a tangible object.

I could say that I want to bring my intelligence or positivity, these could help me find a way home.

But then I would have to pick one quality to keep, and how to I judge then?

Then I realised a way I could have all my qualities with me.

If I were on a deserted island I would bring my memories.

The good days, the bad days, I would bring them all.

If I remember then I would be able to find a way off.

I would remember how to be positive, and intelligent, and spirited.

I would learn from the mistakes of my past and find out how work out a solution.

If I were on a deserted island I would want to get off it, and my memories would assist me better than my favorite book would.
