Ideas and Institutions

The institutions take on the shape of whatever political ideology is relevant at the time. They are like the chameleon that changes to the color of whatever background it finds itself in.
Our education, our entertainment, our religion, are the body of the chameleon, they follow wherever the tide of thought is going.
We can all learn from the ideas of others and should always have an openness of mind and soul to them.
But when the concrete dries
And ideas along with them
They assume an authority
That goes unquestioned

Me
My country
