I wrote three poems

I wrote three poems this morning.

One was lost on the all encompassing sea of digi-perdition

The second wasn't true.

This one had better mean something.

I can't let you fly into confusion when I know there are a world of Buoys and anchors alike to keep you out of the depths and on your feet.

I have loved you so profoundly that a day hardly passes where I'm not wracked with remembrance.

I have loved you like I'd found something precious.

I have loved you like a little girl with stars in her eyes.

I have loved you like a dragon and a thief.

I have loved you like an animal.

I have loved you like a dream.

I have loved you like a gypsy and a runaway.

I have loved you like an artist.

I have loved you like it was a sickness.

I have loved you like it was a game.

I have loved you like you'd save me from anything that might hurt me.

I have loved you like the planet would stop spinning and let us sit in bliss.

I have loved you like nothing would ever change.

My heart is for you.

But don't ruin your pretty mind trying to find me.

I don't want to mean it, but your happiness is more important than the you-and-me we've come to know.

Don't break anything.

Don't do anything rash.

Chill, Baby.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder and there is strength in contentment.

I love you and I miss you and I wish we could grow up together.

But that's a little bit over.

P.S. Have you ever been to the MET?
