I dreamt of things so far and wide
I wanted so much, and i really tried
I had so many people on my side
And when i failed i cried and cried

I dreamed of flying above the sky
And I would have loved to see a look of pride

I lost my dreams so long ago
And some things i wondered, i will never know
My sadness tried to swallow me, it seemed
