I went out into my backyard and

Ran my feet through the grass,

Let the blades tickle my toes,

Smoothing my feet the dew-kissed on the sod.

Rays of sun beamed down,

Making the droplets twinkle,

And as I walked,

The matted grass showed my path,

Walking the journey

Of exploration outside my window

That I ventured when

I went out into my backyard.
