I Was Too Blind To See

I Was Too Blind To See

You didn’t want me.

I misunderstood,

I was too blind to see.

You had me in your palm but released like debris.

You were no good.

I was too blind to see.

Looking through a kaleidoscope; 3D.

You didn’t treat me like you should

I was too blind to see.

You said it was love; you couldn’t leave me be.

Why couldn’t you leave me alone where I stood?

You didn’t want me.

I’m swimming in an endless sea,

Floating now like driftwood.

I was too blind to see.

I’d like to feel free.

I did all I could.

You didn’t want me.

I was too blind to see.
