I was not Shy, I was Afraid

Surrounded by the world

seems like a big pit surrounded by others

unaccepting, unwelcoming others

well so i thought at a young age

and so the shy girl was born

with rage

all she had was her grandmother

the grandmother that taught her not to be shy

the permanant death of her was final

no words, no goodbye from me

that was final

how could I live?

when i was the opposite of shy from her

I was not shy, I was afraid

not shy,

afraid of the world

afraid of the people

and than I thought why be afraid

you are you, and the people are the people

Surround  by the world that I make for myself

I was not shy, I used to be afraid
