I used to think I

Location

I used to think I couldn't do it

I used to think it wast me

But to my suprise I must admit

There was no place I'd rather be

The confidence I get onstage

When hundreds of people are hungry for a performance

It's greater joy than hitting the drinking age

Enough to break conformance

Theater is love, Theater is my life

This is no ordinary poem

Much less common than a butter knife

I guess I'm here to say

How uplifting this is to me

Theres nothing else that makes me feel this way

I may have the lock but Theater has the key
