I Understand Why Peter Pan Didn't Wanna Grow Up

I remember when i was a kid

I couldn't wait to grow up

Then suddenly, i was growing up

I realized this when i had to start taking the ACT

I’m growing up

I have to do my own hair and make my own lunch

I’m growing up

I have to get a job and help pay bills

I’m growing up

I have to start driving now

I understand why Peter Pan didn’t want to grow up

I miss playing video games all day

I understand why Peter Pan didn’t want to grow up

I miss having naptime at school

I understand why Peter Pan didn’t want to grow up

I miss having my parents kiss my booboos when i fell on the ground

I understand why Peter Pan didn’t want to grow up

I miss not having a care in the world

I understand why Peter Pan didn’t want to grow up

But we have to grow up at sometime

I understand why Peter Pan didnt want to grow up, but I’m glad I’m finally growing up
