I Still Cry

I write just as I dance.
A plea for life to give me a stronger chance.
Too afraid to show you my scars.
Too afraid to show you my past.
All my life is a petty lie and fake smile until my words fall from my eyes.
I used to wish you would hear me
I thought if I wrote it out you would see me
Maybe this would remind you to love me.
I've grown up now and I'm all alone.
I lost my hope to be anything
I pour my heart into these pages in desperation for someone, anyone, to catch me.
  Save me from falling.
I am weak until I write.
When I become strong enough to write the pains within me, I yet again begin to weep.
How long can one keep up such a fight?
