I See Hope In All Of My Darkness

Location

Darkness is consuming me,

slowly yet surely,

trapping me within its boundaries,

not letting me be free.

I feel the pain,

the anguish,

the depression.

I'm suffocating in the dark,

a place that I don't want to be in,

I can't see anything,

nor can I talk.

There is no one to save me:

no person,

no being,

nothing.

But in all this darkness

I see a light,

a flicker of light,

that is my hope.

Hope that

someone will save me;

hope that one day,

I can leave my darkness

and be free.

I hope that on day

I can see the light

once again.

Hope will get me out of this darkness.
