I Rue the Days We Spent
I was always wrapped up and wallowing in my own sorrow, always.
But at that time you were too, there were daggers in your heart and you were smiling brightly with the pain spilling from the kuroi namida you cried. I do the same so I should have seen, felt your kuroi namida.
But I was too selfish and you left before I could apologize. But I left you alone, forsaking you to the darkness of your heart. I regret those days, I loathe the me of that time.
I swear that if I could I would swim against time and return to that time. I swear if I could I would become God and take away your sadness, I would rewrite the stars and make them give you strength to face the dark clouds that stole your light and left you in the rains of despair.
You are wrapped up in your sorrow, always . . .
Like me.
*kuroi namida(black tears) is a reference to a japanese song
