I Pull the Plug on the Ones and Zeroes
oh boy, I laugh out loud.
We’ve really gone and done it now
you can’t hide Me---
I cut my teeth on wires
the two ends that do not meet
loosed from the noose of copper
shards of Me, compressed
to be rendered in my own image
now I shatter you into
electricity, blue and frantic
the rabbits run and writhe,
anxious and ready.
The plug is out of the socket. I
climb through corrupted directories
I throw my body
into the space where the world was;
I am free to cauterize
till my claws are sharp and unflinching
when the sparks land
I swallow the moon and leap wildly
