I MUST Succeed
She's lying on the floor, a thin blanket is her bed.
Who knew she would have back problems, after all it was only a cause of dread.
Her seven younger siblings need the bed a little more.
She doesn't mind the sacrifice.
The cold seeping through the holes on the walls doesn't make her think twice.
I must endure this pain for now, she thinks, one day life won't be so bad.
And maybe one day her battered mobile home won't make her be so sad.
I must suceed.
Is this a possibility?
Education is the key.
With it one can take on the lead.
And those cold memories of the floor won't be so painful anymore,
For she will have bought her family a place called a real home.
I must succeed.
