'I made it'

I made it,
Through the cold of the night, that made me shiver and bite ma teeth.
I made it,
Through the rough mat i layed on,that poverty forced me to sleep on from which bedbugs hunted my little blood.
I made it,
Through the rough terrain, that my feet walked on without even a pair of 'yeboyebo'.
I made it,
Through the tough life of the village, that made days longer and nights more dark.
I made it,
Through the empty stomach, that dried ma mouth with no drops of saliva.
I made it,
Through the rejection and betrayal, that ladies offered me for falling in love with them which disapointed, and made me more strong.
I made it,
Through the mockery and laughter of the fortunate students in class, that made me work more hard.
I made it,
Through the love and support i owned from ma few friends,,who willed to help me tirelessly.
I made it,
Through the jobless situation in ma country,,that has affected many youth, but i just hope things change.
I made it,
I made it.
