I Love You

Jazmyn

She makes me feel like no other,
When she pulls me close and utters those words.
Softly she whispers to me,
“I love you.”

Chills run down my spine,
As a smile graces my face.
Before I know it, I hear myself say,
“I love you more.”

Butterflies fill my stomach,
As she wraps her arms around me.
She makes me feel safe and warm,
In her arms is where I found home.

Jazmyn

Her smile can light up the night,
And shine brighter than the stars.
She’s more beautiful than the early spring flowers,
And the warm summer days.

Without her love,
I don’t know what I’d do.
For she is my world,
And I’d have nothing without her.

She is my Queen,
And my shoulder to cry on.
She can be my best friend,
Or my true love when I need it.
