O Death, you bore me so,
For I am not afraid of you.
Your twisted plans
And sly actions,
I have all but seen before.
You think your ghouls
And witches with skinny black cats,
And your goblins and ghosts
And vampire bats
Will frighten me away,
But you are quite wrong Mr. Death.
Come closer,
I desire to hug you.
Come now,
It won’t do any harm.
What’s this?
You hesitate?
I thought I would never see the day.
Or is this just another one of your devious plans,
So you can come unexpectedly
And snatch my life away?
Not a flicker of fear,
For I will be ready,
When The Night is near.
