I have a Heart Condition

I have a heart condition.

It's prompted me to no longer be bound. Abolition.

Can you tell me what's your rendition..

when the doctor says there's no cure, nor a physician?

Is that when you lash out and hate the world around you?

Hurting & cursing others just because you feel blue?

Tell me, tell me please, what do you do..

When everything, internally, feels like an unorganized zoo?

It's easy to cover up how we feel.

& the deception is that we start to believe our lies are real.

Our lives become valley experiences, fallen off a hill..

The challenge is to stand up & face the music, no matter what the deal.

My heart condition is love.

I made the conscious decision to love myself, others, & The One Above.

No it's not always easy, & not always fun..

to rid myself of hateful thoughts.. but love starts w/me. I'm the one.

I won't comment on them all, don't worry.

I cried reading this one. In my mind the heart condition was a broken heart. The middle two stanzas strike me like a semi on the freeway, They remind me of how I used to be feel and think. I have tried hard to get better. Again, thank you for your peoms, they have a very liquid smooth feel to them if that makes any sense.

I don't mind all the comments, I appreciate them! I'm glad that you can relate to these words. I initially wrote this to show how loving yourself and others can be painful at times, but it can definitely relate to having a broken heart too (that actually makes more sense lol) Words are limitless to their meanings. :) Thanks again for reading!
