I Got Old Too Fast

Tue, 06/04/2013 - 21:24 -- oddity

My feet feel tired
And my mind feels dull
And bleakness wraps around me
And I’m more like a drone
And life clings to me like a wet blanket
Dragging me down
Down
Down
Down
And I just want a lay down
My eyes are getting droopy
My head is feeling heavy
My body is sore
And my heart is worn through
And hurts to breathe
And I don’t want to feel
I’m bearing everyone’s burden
But I’m sixteen
My mind tells me otherwise
My brain seems to think I'm ninety-five
I’ve lived long enough.
I don’t want any more experiences from this world.
My mind is checked out.
My heart left the show long ago.
My body is exhausted.
It’s too much work to stay awake.
And I want to close my eyes
And I’m just ready to die

oddity

I know it's not that good, but I just had to write it down.
