I Fell For You

I kept tripping over tree roots,

Stepping on the laces of my shoe,

I couldn’t get a hold of my life,

Until I saw your smile and fell for you.

I would pour a glass and miss,

It seemed that everything I would do,

Would fail and fall and all go wrong,

Until I heard your laugh and fell for you.

I couldn’t get my life together,

I even messed up a job interview,

You looked straight into my eyes,

And that’s exactly when I knew:

I’d fallen for you.
