I Dream of Autumn

I dream of it.

The crisp cool wind on my skin.

The crunching of the fallen leaves under my feet.

The smell of cider, spiced treats, and homemade meals.

I long for it.

The forest cloaking itself in the regal colors of warmth.

The talk of harvest and celebration.

The animals hurrying around for food.

I wait for it.

The fog among the ground.

The chill on your face.

Friends cuddled up indoors.

I dream of it.

I dream of Autumn.
