I don't accept youBecause this

I don't accept you

Because this is my country

My schools

My jobs

Said the white man

I don't accept you

Because this is my street

My hood

And the color of your clothes ain't with it

Said the thug

I don't accept you

Because my daughter is young

And although you're both the same age

Although you're both classmates

I'll kill you if you touch her

Said the father

But the thing is

I never wanted you to accept me

Because I accept myself

And to be honest

That is all that matters to me.
