I believe

Location

I believe in He, who first believed in me

In He, who first showed love to thee.

He came down to rescue me

Then He stayed to help thee.

Through valley and road, He never leaves

Though hardship comes, He always leads.

He has stayed with me

Through dark night and sunny day.

Never leaving my side, nor forsaking my way.

Though I have often wished He’d just go away

He has always stayed near to my wandering heart.

Then once, upon a dark night I was met, by a brilliant light.

One that shone not in eyes nor mind, but one that showed my soul the might.

The splendor of a true savior, the redeemer had come at night.

Upon this my heart was full and my eyes overflowed.

Tears came and hit the ground, the silent night was quite profound

By the way this boy became a man, in the debt of darkness he rose again.

Now light has come and I am stronger still, by the grace of God

I will become better ‘till

He comes again, to bring me home

‘till he comes again to save us all.
