I am a force to be reckoned with

My story is true, no it’s not a myth

Go ahead and find me in the dictionary

I am under the letter V because I’m a visionary

Growing up, I was taught to strive for the best

Giving up wasn’t an option, no matter how hard the test

I was constantly pushed to my limits by the people around me

Little did I know that the limit doesn’t exist when it comes to education and opportunity

My goal in life has always been one thing

To keep a positive mindset and achieve success in everything

My parents continuously inspire me to work hard everyday

For it is their struggles and stress that remind me that there is always a way

With a low-income status and my dad’s slow business

My parents were never happy and I was always one to witness

That their American dream had shattered, lost and disappeared

But that is where their children came in, 3 girls who would persevere

They taught us that our knowledge would one day take us far

And reminded us that mistakes are a part of life, we are human after all

So we vowed to make them proud and revive all of their dreams

Because they were our heroes, our happiness, the leaders of our team

Therefore, I am not afraid of failure in my face

Because it is a lesson that one shall always embrace

I am not afraid to stand up when I have fallen

Because I am a visionary and I cannot be forgotten.
