I am but a number

Location

766509, please raise your hand.
To the school I was but a number,
 feeding money into the stands.
What I say I mean quiet literally
because money is all that mattered
. The students saftey, or ablity to learn
was never something they quite mastered. Whether or not I retain information
 is no concern of theirs
As long as I get good marks,
 Then no one really cared.
The hallways are not their juristiction,
 No punishments for wrong doing,
If you try, they blame the victim.
When test scores mean more than students
 All trying their bests.
 The school needs to reevaluate
because they don't pass my test.
