I am... Not a Woman

I am not a woman,

yet I still see

The discrimination that occurs

If there is a hole in their jeans.

Most men do not sexualize women

As administration suggests.

We care more about our education

Than the visible amount of breasts.

Short shorts, tank tops,

All normal things we see,

But you send a girl home

If her shorts show her knees.

Girl's are called horrible names

for how they choose to dress,

But no one corrects a boy

For showing his bare chest.

Women are sexualized,

Women are slandered,

Women are held

To an unreasonable standard.

There are two questions left to ask:

Is dress code an issue

to those of the opposite sex?

Or is it the grown adults

That her attire affects?
