I Am Not A Concept

You want someone clothed like a stripper with the ideals of a housewife.

Someone who is worn – a shell.

Gutted of originality and malleable like water.

But that’s why I can’t stay; I can’t allow myself to dim.

I’m leaving the way I came.

Floating between the riffraff and the diamonds.
