I am not the color of my skin.

I am not my semi-squinted eyes or my small nose.

I am not my small mouth and my round face.

I am not my small stature or my black hair.

I am not simply my Asian background.

I am my determination and hard work.

I am my compassion and my kindness.

I am my intelligence and my strength.

I am my happiness and my reliability.

I am not the stereotype of my ethnicity. 

I am more than what you see on the surface.

I am much more.

I will always be much more.
