I am a dreamer

I wonder about the moon and the stars

I hear the shouts of my victory

I see myself jumping from joy

I want to forge ahead, to live that moment I depict

I pretend to be a tree

I feel the the innocence of a unicorn

I touch the soft manes of rivers

I worry about becoming an adult

I cry over all failures, no matter how small

I am potential, I am energy, I am kinetic

I understand gravity

I say it can be denied

I dream of floating off

I try to lift myself away from the earth
