I am from the music within

From the notes that I sing, 

And the dreams that I'm in

 

I am from broken promises,

The trusts that were taken away,

And the heart scaring words that everybody says

 

I am from the friends that that make me laugh

The giggles and smiles,

And the fun adventures,

From the yells,

I am from broken hearts

I am from a life that I'm constantly questioning

A life where I'm constantly dreaming

 

I am from a voice inside me

A voice that's always telling me to just be
