I am

I am from the house of my great grandparents.

From a house with walls that could tell so many stories.

I am from the sound of a camera clicking,

To the pictures on the wall,

I am from everyone being equal.

From three sisters trying to be best of all,

I am from trying to break out of my shell to see what’s true.

I am from the working ways,

The healing hands,

The wishing waters,

I am from the dirt and pain,

From taking your time,

I am from outside of the box,

From other ways of creating,

I am from the learning mind,

I am from working first with organization,

And doing it later in immense clutter,

 From razor shape focus,

To every distraction,

I am from a love and nurturing.
