I Am

I am a girl

You are my solitude

The world is unconquerable, nearly impossible

The word is a place of unfairness and restraints

You are my safety, where are you?

I am bewildered and young

I am wandering in the big, wide somewhere

You are waiting with open and recieving arms

The world is an absurd, farcical maze

The world is a beautiful, disguised prison

You are watching me as I aimlessly wander

I am finally found by you, your comforting words queit and somber

I am a woman

You are my momentary mentor and leader

The world is a wonder and great discovery

The world is an oyster to my new found independence

You are smiling wit the shining pride of an old keeper

I am on my own

This poem is about:
Me
