I’ve been told

Someone once told me

I was pretty

I had a cute smile

I had big beautiful brown eyes

And I believed them.

Someone once told me

I was theirs

I owned their heart

I was the love of their life

And I believed them.

Someone once told me

I was ugly

I don’t belong

I shouldn’t be alive

And I believed them.

Someone once told me

I wasn’t loved

I had no friends

I would always be alone

And I believed them.

I once told me

You are annoying

You deserve nothing

You are the worst friend

And I believed me.

I once told me

You have no one

You will always be alone

You don’t deserve life

And I believed me

I once told me

You are smart

You are gorgeous

You deserve the love you exude

You have the strength to overcome

You are everything and everything is you

And I didn’t believe me

Because by then I had stopped believing.

Oh aww pal, noh believe in only the good things they say about you, the negative things just ignore them and if they are traits that u fink are bad than try to rid them. This is a fabulous creatively built up poem wow. Kudos.

I see comments are not common here, but interaction is good for the human touch in this cold world.  Pleez do comment/ review my newest poem too.
