Hush Now

Hush now little baby bird

Don't you sing a single word

Your wings are too small for flight

In the great big purple sky.

Hush now little baby bird

Don't you sing a single word,

just you wait a little while

your feathers soon will compile

Hush now little baby bird

Don't you sing a single word,

Though your wings may still be small

They'll be the greatest of them all.

Hush now little baby bird

Don't you sing a single word,

Think of your new feathers bright

Flying in the purple skies.
