Hunger

Ecclesiastes 3:11

11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time.

He has planted eternity in the human heart,

but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from

beginning to end.

As I observe the human heart to search for a difference.

What mostly I discover … how much we are alike.

Particularly emotions seem to be so similar

moving constantly between peace and strife.

The only difference seems to be the time of reaction.

If one could only meditate … before giving in.

The perimeters between extremes seem to be so even

unless hidden by a conscience … hardened from within.

Grief and broken hearted … we all have in common.

Pride is where the issues land … and stir up the call.

It is easy to be offended … by a lack of trust

or having no confidence in me …by one or all.

Where does passion come into play?

Where does that hunger reside?

Is that where emotion stops

to give it a place to hide?

Hunger for righteousness and thirsting for truth

will overtake emotions at any time they will?

Calling and searching will really do the part

and underline devotion according to God’s will?
