A Human Life's Value

Location

Remember when a man was judged by his quality of character,

Rather than by the amount of digits his paycheck read every month?

What about looking up to a woman who shared her ideas,

Instead of leaking sneaky snapshots of her bare flesh?

How have we gone from a community of people with honor and compassion,

To a collective hive of materialism and indifference?

Remember when a person was valued for his personality and perseverance,

Rather than the number of dollar bills he produced per unit?

We must protect our children from this demon called money,

Lest we be cast out by them for not being worth a penny.
