How To

I write because I cannot say the words I want out loud

I write because I cannot look you in the eyes when I tell you how I feel. I write because you can twist even the most mundane of words into something beautiful  Alphabet soup for the mindPick the letters and rearrange themOver and over againAn amazing game I learned to playInstead of kickball with other kids

I love writing but I love words even more

Words are amazingWords are why I can writeWords are the reason my fifth grade teacher still talks about howI finished the Harry Potter series in a monthIt was less than a month, actually.  I read words instead of notesI wrote instead of spokeAn old habit I've had since I was a kidMy parents thought words were going to be my futureBut I refused to put words on a paper For meaningless pieces of paper. Meaningless pieces of paper run the worldImaginary value in crumpled up paper. Dyed a different color so we know how important it is.  I love to writeI love wordsI love what they do to you, your mindI love to write wordsEven if they make my friends cryButI hate the thought of Being controlled by the paper. I refuse to make words my future.
