it may confuse you , but for me its the norm.the norm that i choose to cover myself up because i dont want to follow promiscious 'trends' , norm for me because im not a trophy for a guy to show up to his friends, norm for me because i feel safe , why you ask?

my darling i feel safe because i'm diverting attention away, like when a being stares at the sun that they would have to immediately lower their gaze.

what i got on my head does not change me,nor should it change your opinion of what you might think of me.but darling dont forget that if you see a sister wearing scarf , assume that shes a 'god send' pious woman, because no muslim is perfect even though the religion is.

the world may have changed but the holy book stayed the same,discrimination now is at an all time high because some might even believe that we dont deserve the same rights as a citizen of the state rather than a nomad running from a war zone with nothing but the the holy books words on his tongue and heart in mind.

its 2014 they say ,yet women in france are still being fined for excercising their rights and not following the traditional, short shorts and flaunting that starbucks smelling hair.

they say " girl we doing you a favour, you're obviously oppressed take it or leave it and consider this law later" , never ever will stand for them saying that i suffer from oppression when all im doing on this earth is pleasing my lord by covering up the clay sillhoutte that he blessed me with.rest assured that i will never understand why they  say " sex sells", what sells is your dignity, what sells is the guy that was written in the stars for you is dealing with a body that millions of these disturbed minds have already seen of you.

whats beautiful is a woman who has all the beauty in the world but chooses not to show it, whats beautiful is how a man's way of thinking is rewired when he sees that. believe that..you can be beautiful without re-arranging your whole face that god gave you, believe that you'll find a guy who will see past the make up and the big shoes so no my darling , thankyou for your concern some may say hell is hotter but stating out that if you dont wear a scarf i have the power to belittle you is wrong.
