Holy War

What if war was holy
And sex was obscene
We've got it twisted
If you know what I mean
Baptised in boundries
And Schooled in sin
Divided by colors, races and skin
Maybe we should love each other
Maybe we should trust each other
Tear down the walls of hate
We build to separate each other
Baby blow by blow
And brick by brick
Keep our self locked up
Keep our self locked up
Cause we fear each other
Or maybe we should love each other
Get rid of the bonds of holy war
Oh, maybe we should love each other
Tear down the bonds of holy war
What if sex were holy
And war was obscene
And we lived our lives
In a spiritual dream
Living for love, unafraid of end
Then forgiveness is the only way
We would turn from sin
So we can heal each other
Forgive each other
Break down the walls of hate
Against each other
Blow by blow and brick by brick
We can open up
And learn to love again
Maybe we should love somebody
Maybe we could care a little more
Maybe we should love somebody
Instead of using words of hate wars
What if love was holy
And war was obsene
We could live a peaceful dream
If we could nurse our wounds
And we could heal our scars
Love would be the only way
We could tear down these walls
Love would be the only way
We tear down these walls
