Holocaust

I look into my life

And all I see is pain

The cries, the violence

The bitterness, people in vain

Endless cries on deaf ears

Crushing hopes and dreams

The blame should be those

Who enjoyed torturing us to the extreme

We victims give failing hearts

And weary eyes of pain

Blistered mouths that cannot smile

And may not laugh again

Luxuries of freedom

Have come to an end

Since our bright futures are gone

Darkness is our only friend

Happiness from an angel

Heavenly sent

But that’s in the future

I’m still in the present

But I await for that day

That day without fear

That day without symphonies of tyranny

That day without a tear
