Hold Back The River

Behind those bars for eight years

I wonder how you get through ..

I've stopped crying those sad tears

I'll love and hate the day I see you ..

You've turned your life around, You're better

You've inspired me so much ..

But still I miss my father

That smile and warm touch ..

A heart so big

A soul so pure ..

We all make mistakes

I forgive you, I just wish you were here ..

Because of you i'm a better me

You'll never understand

Hopefully you'll read this one day ..

But please, hold back the river if you can
