Hodgepodge Tricycle

It’s put together with pieces from here and there

from Minnesota to North Dakota, and California I hear

Cobbled together with handle bars and two tires, plus a third

How it stays together no one knows

but somehow it still makes it down this bumpy road

Someone said the handlebars are from California

and the pair of snow tires from Minnesota

which leaves an extra big wheel from North Dakota

that’s all pretty neat but does it have a seat?

As of now I couldn’t say, but maybe they’ll pick one up along the way

where’s it going? Just wait and You’ll see

this little pastiche will keep on rolling to eternity

Does it have any brakes? I’m afraid not

and as for the pedals, I guess they forgot

but that doesn’t much matter, because it’s driven by wind

and every time it slows down, the wanderlust gets it going again

who’s brave enough to ride it? we’ll give it a whirl

as this little hodgepodge tricycle travels the world!
