History

Location

History, not the most popular subject.

Students moan and groan about having to give it thought.

“We’ll never use it.” “What’s the point?”

Why all the discontent?

Why shouldn’t know about history.

Plato, a scholar and thinker.

We would never know his thought.

If we didn’t stop to study it.

We would mis out on the amazement.

We would miss his conclusions on life.

The Roman Empire, an ancient super power.

Our laws created from it.

Our architecture molded by it.

Amazing stories crafted from it.

And ideas that would never have continued.

The Revolutionary War where we gained our independence.

It would be lost in history if not brought back to light.

Inovations in war.

New ideas in politics.

With out history we would lose so much.

We would learn nothing.

Mistakes would keep reappearing.

We would be doomed to repeat history.

And if you don’t like it.. Why repeat it?
